ADvantage tools are a complete suite of software
designed to reduce the learning curve and man-hours required to develop
real-time simulations, to perform automated testing and system optimization.
Tool functionalities include integrated simulation development, run-time
execution, debugging, automation, graphical control, and visualization. ADvantage tools are straightforward enough to get up and
running quickly, yet sophisticated enough to exploit our open architecture and
powerful, hardware platforms - RTS and rtX.
The rtX Simulator
provides a high-performance, low cost solution for hardware-in-the-loop
simulation and test applications. The rtX features a 2.4GHz (or faster) Intel
Pentium processor for the primary compute power. A wide range of PCI I/O and
Industry Pack I/O is integrated with the system. The rtX utilizes the QNX
operating system for real-time operation. The rtX combined with the ADvantage software provides an environment ideal for
closed-loop simulation or open-loop testing.
The RTS computer
platform provides true multi-processor, real-time simulation,
with an extensive array of VME based I/O interfaces. The open architecture of
the RTS platform allows you to select only the computational power and I/O devices required today, and allows limitless upgrade
paths for future compute engines and hardware I/O boards. At the heart of the
RTS is RTexec, our high performance, real-time
operating system (RTOS) that enables effortless use of the complete suite of ADvantage tools.
